Joel Goldsmith's work on this show was phenomenal. Soundtrack please!

Music is important. Shows with generic piano tunes for soft moments and stuff like that are pretty boring. The music of SG1 and Atlantis was alright, but side from the main themes and a couple standouts, it felt pretty generic. Then, SGU comes along, and it's like Goldsmith was allowed to put his heart and soul into his work.

It doesn't get better than that.

I really wish they'd release a soundtrack for this show. I'd buy it immediately.

Seeing how they never released anything past season 1 of SG1 in music, I very much doubt it.

I'd buy all of his work on SG1 in an instant.

Yes his work on SGU was splendid as well.

You know, for the life of me, I can't track down a lot of the songs. Most of the ones on Youtube are just extractions that mute out the audio. I recognize most of them from various episodes.

Still, trying to find the background music that played when Brody goes, "We're ready to put the first group into stasis" which continues until Varro is frozen and ends when the show switches to Eli moments after. Diving in the Sun has a similar melody to it, but I still can't figure it out. XD

Anyone have luck? I mean for the ones who've veered through Youtube that were uploaded unofficially. Those who are familiar with those songs on Youtube. Lol

Joel was working on releasing the soundtrack, I saw a post somewhere (Twitter or forum?) but sadly he passed and I think the soundtrack passed with him which sucks as I really loved his work on this show!
