SGU pilot ''Air'' - original vs extended - missing footage

SGU Air, original = 2 hours 9 minutes 54 seconds

SGU Air, extended = 2 hours 17 minutes 59 second

That's a difference of only 8 minutes and 5 seconds, but does anybody know exactly where those 8 minutes were inserted into the pilot? It'd be interesting to see a side-by-side comparison. I think there's an extra scene where Rush meets with O'Neill but am not sure about the rest.

Okay, found a comparison:

Strange, though, that they mention more time in the extended version.

15 Extended scenes = 10 min 56 sec
2 Missing scenes (Extended Edition) = 30 sec

11 minutes 26 seconds.

How can that be? Another extended edition?

That's an additional 3-ish minutes.

They also exclude the "previously on..." intro bit on the aired version of part 3, which adds another minute or two on top of that.

Where did the approx. 5 minutes of missing footage go? Maybe it's a difference between DVD and Blu-ray editions.

I have no clue. I watched SGU on Netflix and watched it a second time on Amazon Instant, and I'm pretty sure both streaming versions were the same. Maybe it is a box set thing.

Boxed set is only available in the UK. :( I had to get seasons 1 & 2 separately, but the physical disc version includes the extended pilot. I didn't know if the streaming version would include original or extended. When you watched it, were all 3 parts of "Air" combined as 1 video, or were they parts 1+2, then a separate part 3?
