Finally bought new dvds of both seasons, lost my originals. It's nice to once again have the complete collection of all-things-Stargate.
Time for a marathon!
Already down to the last disc, only 4 more episodes and that's it, no more Stargate.
shareI was actually surprised how expensive the DVDs (especially Season 2) are. What makes them so much more expensive than other shows? The Stargate thing?
I probably AM going to buy them eventually (if I'll continue to like the show as much as I do now), but so far I'm perfectly happy with Netflix.
I bought the entire series (seasons 1 & 2) on DVD for approx. USD$12. Really cheap. I really would like to have both seasons on blu-ray but that's only available on UK-format.

Couldn't you watch the UK-format blu-rays if your blu-ray player is code free?
I have ensured that my DVD player is code free so I can watch all DVD formats, as some of the movies etc. I want to own are only available in the US.
The price you paid is pretty normal. I bought them on Amazon, although I suspect the lower price is also elsewhere, maybe it's low because of DVD sales in general in certain locations.
Maybe I could watch the UK blu-rays on a code free player, I didn't think of that. So, basically, does a code-free blu-ray player play any blu-ray and any dvd from around the world? That would be awesome.
