Any updated info on how the story was to conclude?

I just finished rewatching a lot of SG1/SGA, then decided to give SGU a rewatch. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought, appreciated it more as well. At same time, kind of saddened this had to end the way it did. So I did a Google search to see if any of the writers or producers ever described how the story would have ended. The best I came up with is this:

Brad and Robert had a mind-blowing idea for the series/franchise wrap-up and, in deference to them, I’ll keep my mouth shut and allow them to one day reveal their master plan).
