Exactly, her so called 'friend' suddently just turned on her because she didn't like all the attention she was getting - plain and simple. If I was Olive I wouldn't have apologised to her first. Who would want to stay friends with someone like that??

She was a bad friend from the get-go, very aggressive in the way that she spoke and the name-calling. That's why I liked that there was no reconciliation scene between them. With the exception of her new boyfriend she's pretty much done with everyone from school at the end of the movie. And I think that was a really good point to make about high school, none of those people matter once you enter the real world.
