Mean Girls was more well put-together

While I liked this film, as far as storyline goes, I think Mean Girls was more "put together," if that makes sense. The only reason I'm comparing them is because these two films get compared a lot, with people even saying "It's the new Mean Girls" back when it came out in 2010.

Some parts of Easy A didn't even make much sense. Olive says to Brandon she "doesn't do anything half-assed," that's why their lie had to be loud and in public. Yet the succeeding lies after that, everything became half-assed, with the lie really only coming from the guys spreading having done something with Olive, and her just agreeing with the lies beforehand (after the "payment," of course).

Also, even though Olive's mom had only met Brandon once (twice if you count the time he dropped off his present for Olive), it made no sense to me how her mom was able to deduce that Brandon was "incredibly gay."

Lastly, it made zero sense why Rihannon was her "best friend." They were complete opposites, and Rihannon was rude, always calling her negative names.

I agree, but I don't like Mean Girls. That movie felles like a chick flick for me. This is like a toner Downs Farrelly brothers movie.

Mean girls was, at the time, a truly epic film. However over time I have watched and re watched it less frequently than Easy a. I have watched Easy a repeatedly and it's still epic. I think that's because of Emma Stone. And because it is effortlessly entertaining unlike mean girls which, whilst entertaining, struggles to keep up that momentum throughout the films running time. That and Lindsay Lohans real life disasters have rendered it almost, totally unwatchable.

That's just my opinion tho.
