Often, I have talked about my unrequited crush, and my classmates have created rumors that we have done all sorts of things. Also, they have created rumors about me having sex with all kinds of people.
shareAlso, there is this rumor of me being in a relationship with some old barber who lives near me. You see, the people who created that rumor made it as gross as possible to piss me off. It hurts how I am in fear that they are going to tell everyone the various rumors they have thought of.

shareThere were a lot of rumors floating around back when I was in high school but I feel sorry for you kids with the "social networking" and all the crap flying around the internet. It's way too easy (and "fun" for the powerless bullies and bored bitches) to get rumors started about other kids.
You know, the best way to put an end to it is just to ignore them. If you show fear, you give them power over you. Whatever they tell to whomever, it's just words. Situations like that help you sort out your true friends from the rest, and the decent people from the *beep*

I'm not in high school anymore, but yeah, Facebook is no longer a safe haven and people could use your posts against you. When I was actually in high school, Facebook was popular, but it was still kind of a hugbox.
