Really, Todd?

You don't believe the rumors about Olive, fine ... but rather than believe that someone made them up, which any normal person would, you believe Olive started them herself and Brendan asked her to, because once in middle school Olive told people you kissed her because you asked her to?

This was a ridiculous way for Todd to 'find out' and know the truth.

So much in this movie is considered realistic, but if that's how someone's mind really worked, they would be considered paranoid or insane.

Or both?

Is it really that far-fetched? He remembered something she did from his childhood. He then assumed she did it again.

Todd was a total Mary Sue and the guy who played him was a chump.

 well, apparently he's not a moron like some. Considering the guys who were saying she slept with them, it didn't take Einstein to put it together but hey it's ok, I'm sure most fictional characters are smarter than you.

I liked that Todd was more mature than the average HS guy. He was working, a school mascot.
Is it so far fetched that all kids don't get caught up in HS soap operas.
He knew the kind of person she was from his personal experience and didn't let rumors alter his opinion.
All HS kids are not idiots at that age.

Todd was too good to be true for me.

I dont live in the US but if these HS dramas they show on movies and stuff, if half of them are true I dont think I can survive high school there @@
