Very Surprising........

Well, caught this one last night.

Ok, the first thing I have to say is, I couldn't believe Amy Adams' appearance. I don't know if she looks like this all the time now, or if she put on weight for the role. It's like the first time I've ever seen her in a film and she did absolutely nothing for me looks wise.

ANyway, that aside, another surprise - I couldn't believe some of the things Amy did in this film. To me she's a very good actress, proven for about 15 years now. It was embarrassing watching her do some of the things she does in this movie. I won't say what she does so as not to spoil it for anyone.

ANother surprise - why would a quality actress like AMy Adams, who probably, even now, gets to pick and choose the roles she wants to do, involve herself in a production like this? To me, it was beneath her.

And lastly, the film itself - MEH. One didn't care for it.

She did gain weight for the part. She did the same thing for that Dick Cheney movie 'VICE'.

Hahaha, that might had been intentional. Ya know, the whole 'motherhood sucks' thing. She is quite lovely at her normal size. Ten, twelve years ago she was a knockout. Check her out in "American Hustle".

Maybe so - but I still found her attractive in "VICE" - in this one - OMG - gross.

Well again, maybe so. Yes, it couldn't possibly have been more amplified how awful motherhood is.

But anyway, back to AMy, top shelf in "Charlie Wilson's War". And continued to stay very attractive for several years, "American Hustle" included.
