Just finished watching ... Questions and rant SPOILERS

Just finished watching the show. I truly enjoyed it, but I was not happy with the end.

The last episode was so uneventful. And I really wanted to see grayson and jane together in the end, maybe their wedding. But wtf, jane and ian??? Playing the piano (last scene)? Not impressed.
Owen and Stacey - no chemistry. How cliche she gives birth on the day of the end? We don't even get to see the wedding or the babies?

I really liked Fred, the only meaningful guardian angle character in my opinion. Paul was so meaningless. He added nothing to the story. What I don't understand is why was it a big deal when Fred kissed stacey, but it is ok for that second guardian angel to go out with kim?

And stacey. Honestly, I don't think she was a good friend. Whenever she started acting on that show, she got so snobbish and started treating everyone like garbage. Then when she had that pake idea, she trusted kim kardashian more than her own friend deb. Someone she knew for days over someone she knew for years???
And seriously, to ask owen for his sperm?? BS. Not to mention when grayson kissed her and she didn't really seem to push him back. Anyways, i couldn't stand her.
If the ending had been different, i think i would miss the show. but it is like they rushed thru it just be done with it.

I feel like the show started to to go downhill ever so slightly during season 4. I t was still okay but also sliding a little. But once season 5 started it just went from an ever-so-slight decline to a full on cliff.

If I'm being totally honest, I was not looking forward to Jane and Grayson as Endgame. I knew that's what it was heading for but I definitely preferred her with Tony and Owen, at their respective times as her boyfriend. But regardless of who I liked her with, I also feel like they could have done a way better job with Jane and Grayson, not only leading up to them getting together but also when they were actually in a relationship.

I couldn't stand Stacy's behavior while she was on that show and thought she was crazy for getting all angry with Jane yet was totally trusting with Kim K.

They did rush it through. They were going to end it in the middle of Season 5 but they decided to keep it on and tie up the story. I think that is part of the reason they rushed it. It's also possible that when they were looking to end it in Season 5, the actors probably all started making plans for their lives post-run. The producers, writers, etc just seemed to give up caring and phoned in the show wrap up.

Viewers deserved so much more than what was half heartedly given us by the writers/producers in that awful series finale. To invest in 5 years watching a show for such a tepid ending is such a letdown.

And I was so hoping for a return of Sharon Lawerence as Jane's original mom. As a fantasy show, it just would have been nice to have seen Jane finally reveal herself to her as Deb.

I 100% agree with this. The only good thing about season 6 for me was to see Fred again, if only for a couple of scenes. He ran circles around those other 2 guardian angels and I wish he had stayed on throughout the whole series.

I didn't like the 2nd one Luke at all but Oh My God did it get 10X worse with the 3rd one Paul who was annoying as all hell with his shirtless and perky dumbness. He was just so stupid, unfunny and cloying in every scene he was in.

To end on a positive note, contrary to the downfall in overall quality of the series, I did notice that the acting of the person playing Grayson had noticeably improved from the beginning of the series to the end. And then they kill him off. Boo.

Aww, Jane revealing herself to Deb's mom would've been sweet.

I agree about Paul. He annoyed me so much! Fred (Ben Feldman) is great. Idk why they replaced him. I was disappointed when he left the show.
