I'd say homage; either way there's nothing wrong with that.
I don't mean to impose, but I am the Ocean.
homage to an homage. it all goes back to The Evil Dead
shareActually it was an Evil Dead reference, as was the scene in Shaun of the Dead.
shareEvil Dead was the inspiration for Shaun of the Dead!
shareI always remember EVIL DEAD 2 when I see the
1)Weapon
2)Fast close up
3)Hand grabbing the object quick
4)(optional): the character pumps, pulls out, grips or weapon
Many times directors do the Close-Up first then Zoom out as the character grabs the weapon.
NOW!, If the SHED is a big part of your statement,
then that is also a big HORROR cliche.
POINT!
(regarding the weapon grabbing)
I've (i'm sure all of us) have seen it many many times. HOT FUZZ just happens to be the best scene.
RabbitMayhem, I always find your posts extremely awkward to process, you have a habit of typing something that looks akin to a computer program. C++ much?
Opinions are just onions with pi in them.
Lol everything has to be a reference to... oh wait, no, plagiarism of something made in the last ten years.
