Lesson: Nazi zombies use binoculars but not guns

Anyone else find this kinda bizarre? Clearly these aren't your typical movie zombies that are mindlessly chasing brains the entire time. The Nazi leader uses binoculars at one point and the rest of them respond to commands from him, but God forbid they use any of the guns they brought with them.

Guns...Need...Bullets

When the one kid fell in the pit there were tons of bullets lying around. How do you think he had ammo for that machine gun?

reply

The leader may have been the only one smart enough to use whatever is left of his brain (no idea why the others wouldn't). The others may have just been "drones."

reply

I think you misunderstood the film entirely... It was silly Nazi-Zombie fun. None of it made sense really.

reply

Their fingers are probably too stiff to pull a trigger, but gripping hand weapons or tools that do not require dexterity like binoculars is possible.

You're a troll.

reply

why is it so hard to realize that maybe itd be too easy for them.....maybe they wanted a challenge, interesting messy kills instead of a quick bullet to the head

reply

And maybe they just liked the biting. Why bother to shoot something, when you might have a chance to chase it down and bite it.

reply

The good thing is that the movie is fun enough to stand over many holes and inconsistencies in the plot. I loved the end.

I'm buying this *beep*

^This.

Heh, yeah I have no problems with zombie Nazis somehow surviving for 70 years under snow and ice only to seek out a small box of gold, but not using guns- that ruined the immersion totally.

Yes, I'll 'fess up. I did. I know it's supposed to be a mindless zombie splatterfest, featuring the fastest, moving zombies you've ever seen. But it was truly weird seeing binoculars being used and a human firing the zombies' guns, but not the zombies themselves.

reply

Not weird at all. This movie seems to be inspired in Evil Dead, so if you've seen the film, you'll know that it uses a lot of ironies on purpose, this was just one of them.
