Unbelievably awesome!

Getting a bit tired of reading all the haters on here. This movie blew me away. Easily better than most Zombie movies out there (comedy or otherwise). So many great moments (totally getting the 2-disc DVD if it comes to Australia).

Some of the best orchestrated gory action I have ever seen and it is also really beautiful and eerie to look at. Being from a little film from Norway it is also interesting as an alternative to high-budget (& overrated) fare like Zombieland.

A great successor to Shock Waves as a cult Nazi Zombie movie.
I so hope there is a sequel!

Agreed, watched it first time on the big screen at the seattle intl film festival and was a blast on the big screen - plus it was a midnite show!

I completely agree with you. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen. It was well done and all the characters did a fantastic job, from start to finish.
I'll continue sticking to my IMDb user-name with pride, eventhough I'm not European.

It's the sort of movie you can't really criticize. Over the top with laugh out loud gore moments. Basic plot seen in hundreds of films. Did what it set out to do. Nazi zombies. What's not to like?

She's a man, it's a sled, he's dead already.

reply

Agreed!

And I think this little flick had the best blood I've seen in many years.

Good color and consistency. And spilled, sprayed and gushed copiously.

Nothing wrong with that.

I just watched it, and loved it!

It had so many funny little bits in it. Like when Vegard sees the second zombie arise from the snow and just says "Oookay" in this cynical way creased me up!

And, come on, the part where the zombie bit into his ski coat and spat the lining and feathers out his mouth was HILARIOUS!

reply

Love that movie!

And that spitting feathers bit was hilarious!

I'm with ya. This was a fun one to watch. I accidentally stumbled upon it in the foreign section of the library. I watched it twice! My boyfriend even watched it, and he doesn't watch foreign or horrorish movies.

As someone posted before me "Nazi Zombies? What's not to like?"

I have seen a few films from Norway and I am impressed with their horror and comedy genres. I would recommend this movie if you like zombies. Not the coolest zombie movie in my book though. That is reserved for "Dead and Breakfast."

I agree with you, this is one of the best horror movies I've seen lately, and in same time was very funny. I gave 8/10.

I'm from Serbia, and I would like to see more Norwegian movies, and if someone could recommend another good Norwegian movie, I will appreciate. Thanks

Yes it is, just pure crack for anyone who apperiactes a well done horror comedy!

The amputation scene was a riot, when he first cuts off his arm just to be safe from infection and then gets bitten again but this time to the balls. Dude starts looking at the chainsaw again with this desperate "not this sh*t again"-face while the other guy is like "no, no, no, no!"

Good thing the final battle got on the way before he could go through with it

This is like the only movie where the Nazis actually win. Weird.

Loved it, should have gone to Sunny Beach was my favourite line!

Bro, i totally agree. I just fisished watching this. It's not really comedy, though there are some pretty funny parts. but there a lot of horror in it, and great alternative use of abdomen
