The most interesting season in recent memory.

No-ones running away with it, so far. Everybody’s taking points off each other; fascinating!

I just hope City don't, they seem the only team capable of breaking away right now.

I’m also hoping at least one team from Villa, Everton and West Ham achieve a top 4 spot this year.

reply

I’m very happy with the Everton victory over Liverpool.

reply

City are ten points clear, mate.

reply

They weren’t when this thread was originally posted, but yes, they’ve come into form now.

reply

Well after a promising start it's turned into a rather poor and uninteresting season. A lot of boring matches, a lot of boring styles, and the title and the relegation places look like they're going to be sorted early. On a personal level, my own team (Spurs) are doing poorly.

reply

Fulham might do a Great Escape. Your lot will have their hands full tomorrow with the in form Hammers.

reply

They may do now, yes. Only 3 points in it between them and Newcastle.

The other 2 teams below them are as good as gone.

reply

Agreed about Sheff Utd and West Brom. Burnley, Brighton and Newcastle aren’t out of the woods yet.

reply

Its a great season indeed. Too bad for the absence of the pubblic! The stadiums full of people are part of the charme of the Premier League! Hope they can come back to the stadium in the next 1 or 2 months

Posted just 17 days ago! You certainly jinxed the title race. 😂

The funny thing is, a few weeks ago everyone was going on about the ‘crisis’ at City. Still a lot of football to play though. I reckon 8 teams are in the mix for Europe, plus Fulham might yet escape relegation.

reply

Spurs have gone on a real slump, I still find it strange to see West Ham so high up!

If Fulham escape it will be at the expense of Newcastle I think.

reply

Burnley, Brighton and Newcastle should be feeling nervous.

reply

Liverpool hosted Spurs in that top of the table clash not so long ago. Liverpool won with a late strike to set them up to, erm, run away with it...

reply

Back in August I thought predicting Liverpool as champs would be a safe bet this season! 😯

reply

I thought they were set up with a young enough team to win for a few years! No one could have predicted the Van Dijk hatchet job but it was pretty negligent not to have brought in another centre half in the summer with Lovren leaving and Matip and Gomez always injured.
