It was a coup d'etat engineered by the Military, kids teeth fell out due to the high pitched noise and increase in radiation levels, suspect the wildlife knew something wasn't right in the world and either tried to warn the humans or band together to harm them, suspect all the other peeps in the small town tried to get out of there.

of a surreal commentary on how the US is destroying itself from inside.
Exactly, none of the events and people act like they would in reality outside of the uppity elites in the house …. All those Teslas crash just crashing at the exact location for no reason instead of crashing into multiple n entrances and exists would be more effective & what happened to all the people from the cars in the expressway? None of them decided to go into any of the houses in the area like the one where the brat was gorging herself and watching Friends ?
