Beaten 4-1 in their first game, yet Australia overcome the odds and qualify to the knockout stages with a victory over Denmark.

Congrats to Tunisia too for beating France.

Canada should be going what 'stralia is doing. They might not qualify and go far every year, but at least they play often enough. My country is pathetic. I'm switching to Tunisia.

Is this the best Australia has done in World Cups? I looked it up and it seems they ranked "14" in 1974, but only 16 teams were in that tournament...
