Did the weapons seem too advanced?

Most of those weapons launched by the Navy's (Soviet, U.S.) looked liked cruise missiles and guided bombs which weren't standard ordinance for the Navy then. They probably had some early versions starting then but they weren't the main ordinance. I also thought I got a few views of the ships deck and saw the hidden ordinance panels that you see on today's ships.....in which there aren't visible weapons on deck but each gun and missile is contained inside a compartment that opens to fire. It seemed to me like a lot of the weapons used by the military didn't reflect the 1960's but rather today.

Guided missiles date back to WW2 and anti-ship missiles went into wide scale use in the 60s. The US had several weapon systems that allowed for multiple ordinance launch, particularly missile launch rails. The Asroc system was developed in the 1950s. I didn't see anything too out of place. heck, even the Blackbird wasn't new technology. The A-12 version flew in 1962 and the SR-71 version went into service in 1964. Cruise missile systems had been development for a while, before they were widely deployed in the 1970s.

Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!
