I'm not pretty good when it comes to the time line of the X-Men movies.

Did the Wolverine Origins happen before or after First Class?

I ask because I'm a bit confused with two plots here.

One with Emma Frost. With her being shown as Kayla's sister in Wolverine and then with First Class she's an adult.
I'm sorry of my ignorance on this.

I also ask due to the cameo appearance of Wolverine in First Class.. In some way I thought he would possibly remember the younger version of Magneto and Professor X.

Again, I apologize my ignorance.

You bring up a good point about the age of Emma Frost and how it's inconsistent. I am also interested to know what people make of it. I suppose it's a moot point anyway, since in Days of Future Past they sort of re-booted the timeline anyway, doing away with some mistakes

One with Emma Frost. With her being shown as Kayla's sister in Wolverine

Wolverine's girlfriend was named Kayla Silverfox. Her sister was never established as being THE Emma Frost. She was just a mutant with the ability to turn her body into a diamond hard form.

You can choose whichever you like. Either mutants don't always have unique powers, or they changed character's powers throughout the series - because in the first one they showed a boy teleporting and in X2 Nightcrawler had never been involved with the X-Men before.
