She-Venom...

... damn her appearance was an awesome surprise!

I thought if we were ever going to see Anne (as played by Michelle Williams) bond with the Symbiote, it wasn’t going to be until a Venom sequel or spin-off. The whole sequence when she came to Eddie’s rescue really was great.

Also love Stan Lee’s cameo! For one reason or another I didn’t expect to see him pop up in Venom, so it was wonderful when he showed up at the end. Very cool to see the man alongside Hardy.

It was pretty amusing, considering Michelle Williams' "meh" performance

To be fair... you feel “meh” about the performances of several actors in their beloved Marvel roles (Cumberbatch, Holland), therefore that can’t mean much coming from u. ;)

Clearly you’re not in the minority on this one, though. Williams did not get to shine in this movie.... that is, compare to Hardy. The whole cast gave solid performances, but Hardy essentially walks all over everyone and easily ends up stealing the show. No matter, I found Williams’ portrayal of Anne pretty spot-on and felt she was given more to do in the film than your typical damsel in distress.

That aside, it only made sense that She-Venom and Anne Weying were two very different entities. The former to me was like she came right out of the pages of the comic books.
