For a while it was really doubtful a Spidey/Parker appearance would happen in this movie, especially with all the talks about this movie carrying an R rating. This, however, does sound kinda promising. Just the thought of seeing Holland’s Peter Parker alongside Hardy’s Eddie Brock (like it should be) is pretty cool. This might also mean that these two supposedly separate Marvel universes coexist with each other.

Maybe nothing more than a fan’s wishes, but guess we’re gonna have to wait and see if there’s any truth to this.

Spider-Man has to be in this. When I heard they were going to make a Venom movie, I always dreamed of it ending with the two having a showdown. I always wanted a huge climactic fight scene between Spider-Man and Venom. I don't know what they will do now, but I hope Spider-Man is put to very good use.
