This movie kind of seems like the Evil Dead 2 to Freddy Vs Jason's Evil Dead 1. Does this mean soon we'll be seeing Monica Keena go full-on Ash Williams in a third movie, the Army of Darkness of the trilogy?

let's hope so. I want Angela back though. NOTD is about Angela, so taking her out of the element would be like taking Freddy out of ANOES.
