My thoughts on the remake.

Hey all! This is Jade LaFont.

I worked on the NOTD 2010 (even though it was shot in 2008). By all means I'm not saying its better than the original. Nothing can beat the whole 80s vibe it had going on.

I recently viewed the remake and it is very entertaining. Basically a reinvisioning. Totally different backstory. Hopefully you all will give it a shot. The main leads are likeable which was something that the original lacked. Has a little bit of tongue and cheek humor which seems out of place in some parts. Overall its better than part 3 and I'd say on par with part 2.

I would rank em as followed:

NOTD
NOTD2 and NOTD 2010 tied
NOTD3

Was only a featured extra in it tho. Played one of the ravers.

I agree with you OP, not as good as the 1st but still a much better remake than some others and so much better than the 3rd one. You must have been psyched when you found out you were gonna be in the remake of Night of the Demons. lol

Maybe nothing to do with the demons, but it wasn't completely out of the blue.

The old man starts the film off, showing him being teased & scared by some of the other people in the movie. Judy's sweetness shows that he's just "an old creep" & then he's shown planning to put razor blades inside of apples & hand them out to kids during Halloween. The bit at the end shows that not only did he not succeed, but his wife had enough & decided to off him.

@OP
if you were a featured extra it means you were prominantly featured in at leaset one shot. where can I find you? I have been an extra many times, but sadly never featured. still not giving up and will get my sag card yet!
