Because the director wanted a theatrical release . im guessing that's the best they can do . Keep in mind there are other movies to beat out .

Yes it is lol . Originally it was to be on dvd in feb, but i guess they found a studio that will take the film so they lucked out for a theatrical . Either way i want to see this BAD ! but at the same time im happy this will be on the big screen so other generations can watch it then go out and get the original .
shareI got a feeling all this shifting around will do the film damage, i like to think of myself as a movie buff and generally keep upto date with the latest movies but this one has confused me more than any other. I just hope it's worth the wait (I'm hoping it will be).

Sadly, you all will be severely disappointed.
Meh, i wasn't disapointed with the movie. Underwhelmed maybe but i enjoyed it, if it wasn't called Night of the Demons it would be an ok film on it's own.
