I could see someone who's at least had a GOOD career not wanting to go into all of the latex and makeup, someone like that would have a little more clout in acting like a diva.

But really? What has Shannen done that was memorable? American Pie? 13 Ghosts? The only thing she is really is a pretty face and pair of tits. She would have done a lot better as a victim, because that's all she knows how to play.

She's not doing herself any favors acting like this and it's going to affect her career in some way or another down the road.

She does get into makeup. They have another actress that does some of the stunts in makeup. This was something we all wondered at first but they have confirmed that Shannon does the Demon Angela as well.

JUst think Trixcee Star if the dvd comes out I hope they would have behind the scenes of them getting prepared for the makeup also shannon elizabeth!!!

I'm confused by this post. what were you told? That she did get into the demon make up or that she did not?

I just watched the film and was wondering this also, from what i could see she did NOT get into make up, if she did than it was not worth it because you cannot recognise her like you could in the originals. The demon angela is nothing like the original and i'm disapointed that some of the demons are just unrecognisable from the actors.

I've been hearing this as well. I've basically heard a mixed review on the movie overall. Some people love it all together, some people love the characters, but are iffy on special effects, and some people... they will hate it no matter what simply because it is a remake.

Then some are pissed off with the casting choices (in this case, that Shannon Elizabeth supposedly didn't seem like an actress appreciative of the horror genre by getting into the latex prosthetics and owning the role, but who knows if this is true...rumors).

Quite a diverse set of opinions.

Us horror fans are an eccentric bunch and we like it that way! :)

Even if Shannon will always be second to Amelia in my eyes. I want to hear what Shannon's demonic voice sounds like. It doesn't show us in the trailer I saw. I wonder if it sounds like Cookie Monster on crack!.

Just watched the 20 minute "making of" on the DVD this morning...it did seem that Shannon DID NOT get into makeup as Demonic Angela...someone else took the "bullet" for her. She is seen standing side by side with the girl playing her demonic counterpart several times in the making of...its not her. Poor sport indeed.

And no, she DOES NOT get naked (double fail!)

I watched the behind the scenes featurette too. She gets into makeup. You can tell the difference between her and the double (Simon Bargetze). Listen in on Edward Furlongs interview about Shannon's "demonization" too, so to speak.

Not one of those actors did 100 percent of their own demon performances... they didn't need to... Alot of it involved stunts and they needed stunt people for alot of that. When you think about it, Many of the actors could have gotten away with make up for only a few days (possibly only one day if they were really lucky- just block the demon make up scenes together!) quick shots and stunts could be done by someone else.

You're (double stupid!) Her not playing the demon Angela doesn't mean anything. Maybe that's the way the so-called filmmakers wanted it. And the other girl didn't take a bullet, she took a job and got paid! So Shannon did her a favor get it? People like you always judging and criticising is disgusting.

She's not doing herself any favors acting like this and it's going to affect her career in some way or another down the road.

Where exactly did you get all of this? Found her solid enough in the role and as actress AT LEAST as dependable as the likes Denise Richards and that broad from Heroes who's in Scream 4, if not more convincing than the two of them. Her career having floundered post-Pie is a considerable sorrow.
