All You Need To Know

Supporting actress from "13 Ghosts" remake +
Supporting actress from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" prequel +
Supporting actress from "Freddy Vs. Jason" +
Star of "Laid To Rest" +
Star of "The Crow: Wicked Prayer" +
A character named "Dex" (Yes, that's right! D-E-X)

= "Night of the Demons" remake

A Horror/Comedy with one scare and zero laughs, painful scenes of exposition, cliche mirror AND tub scenes, minimal gore, minimal nudity (real or prosthetic), and without innovation.

I would venture to guess what they saved on salaries they spent on special effects and the soundtrack because they're the only places the film doesn't completely fall flat.

As for the one scare I mentioned - when it finally hits you who the chubby drug dealer is, nothing that happens in the following 124 minutes is as chilling.

Totally agree. Bad movie, not fun. The only worthwhile part of it is seeing Linnea Quigley's warm nod to the original's liquor store scene. That was, by far, the BEST part of the movie.

The lack of gore was disappointing, and to be honest so was the lack of sex, and nudity. From the trailers it made it look like this was going to be a gore fest, and what we got was not. Also when talking about the amount sex, and nudity in the film they made out like it was more extreme then the original. What we got completely fell short of expectations. The sex scene was laughable in both a good way, and bad way. I found the scene funny, but I'm sorry but Diora Baird should have been showing actual skin in that scene. Hopefully if they do a sequel to this they'll make up for the lack of violence, blood, gore, sex, and nudity and turn it all to 11 for the sequel.

Your whole post was SPOT ON. I am lmao at what you wrote about Furlong. I was in horror myself. What the heck happened to him? He was actually a good actor! I was so embarrassed to see him in this grade D flick. I shouldve known as soon as the chick with the ridiculous implants came on the scene the movie was going to be terrible. Why bad horror movies ALWAYS have chicks with bad implants? Always!
