US DVD Release?

I was reading one of the articles posted on the news desk recently and I saw one that briefly mentioned that Home Movie is getting a retail DVD release in October. Is this for the US? And can anybody confirm if that's true?

I know this is late, but it is getting released December 8 in the U.S.
