Just watched it on IFC - SPOILERS
Genius but moved somewhat slow.
The acting was great. The kids were creepy.
All the stuff their Dad taught them...well, if you didn't catch that, I can see why you didn't like it. You need to LISTEN to the dialogue.
Loved how it all came together at the end. Adrian Pasdar, the father, is known for starring in really good indie films. First saw him in "Near Dark" - a brilliant vampire flick from the late 80s. He was really strange in this flick as the uptight, childlike Father pretending that all is well, ignoring what the kids were doing until the Mother accuses him of abuse.
If you didn't like it the first time, I suggest seeing it a second time.
My only critique - what the hell was up with Pasdar's funky Irish like accent? Is that the way he really speaks? It just seemed odd.
Loved the Mother's hair - if that's all hers, wow, great head of hair.
