Why, oh, why did Adrian Pasdar choose to be in this movie? He's too good of an actor to star in what is essentially a B movie and he doesn't need the money. He's married to a Dixie Chick, he's gotta be a millionaire. Maybe he was friends with someone involved?

Adrian Pasdar is an excellent, and daring actor/producer, with the possible deficiency of being too short to be successful at getting leading roles in mainstream movies. He barely makes a living as an actor, with only two TV shows that I can think of that he's landed a major role. (He does get a lot of single appearance work in TV.) If you think being married to a professional musician means they're millionaires, you are totally clueless.
With two kids, my guess is that they live a comfortable upper-middle class life, but I might even be overestimating that.
