I'm Actually Looking Forward To This

Please don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the original and even taught my children the Time Warp when they were young (my daughter yelling that my son was doing a girl's dance when he tried Columbia's tap dance). Even though they were young, we would watch it cuz it was fun and they were young enough to not understand everything that went on. I have also watched the video probably 100 times, have a playlist on Spotify but have only seen it on stage three times (my first at age 16 when my parents took me).

I'm interested in how this will play out with a female Frank (which in the Glee episode, Frank was going to be female). I believe they will stay in the spirit of the original and make a decent tribute. Of course, having Tim Curry in it makes all the difference for me. I feel he will make an awesome Narrator!

Will it be like the original? No, nothing will top that. Will it suck and flop? Maybe, but who knows until it's watched. Does it look shiny and over the top? Yeah, but RHPS has always been over the top.

I will be watching this with an open mind and not compare it to the RHPS we all know and love. I hope others can do the same. Hopefully, it'll be enjoyable. If not, then it'll be fodder on here for a long time.
