This is going to suck soooo hard. The preview was enough to make me shudder. The person they got for Frankenfurter is all wrong. TOTALLY wrong. Brad is all wrong. Just wrong all around. Will flop harder than Peter Pan Live, Sound of Music Live...Shall I go on?
shareAgreed, 100%, the trailer is all I'm ever going to see of this painfully bad and misguided dreck. Why waste money remaking beloved, revered classics? There are so many great musicals never filmed, (or made badly, i.e.: A Little Night Music, South Pacific, etc.), why the networks are obsessed with delivering subpar remakes of great movie musicals, (Grease, Sound of Music, Rocky Horror, etc.) is beyond me. What an AWFUL trend. A much better Halloween choice would have been Wildhorn's Jeckle & Hyde or Little Shop of Horrors, (though I did actually like that movie and I'm certain they'd miscast that one as well.)
shareThat's a really good point that there are so many good musicals that were never filmed or badly done (add to the list Mame and even Hello Dolly!). Why do they want to re-make things that were great or good enough originals?
shareI feel like any remake of Rocky horror in general would be crap just because the original is such a classic. To me it doesn't matter who's cast in the new one you can't top Tim Currys performance no matter who you get.
