shareYes, how dare they perform a musical that has been staged hundreds of times around the world with different casts! The horror! It's like performing Shakespeare's Othello for the umpteenth time. The debut performance back in 1604 was absolutely perfect, and the play should never have been performed again. Anyone who produces a Shakespeare play ought to be arrested, because it totally affects my life and personal happiness when people create something for the enjoyment of others without forcing me to participate.
shareOh please. This is not just another stage performance of Rocky Horror. This is the first "big" adaption since 1975 and there will probably not be another one for 40 more years, if ever. You are the one hysterically missing the entire point of why this is such a waste of a remake.
shareNobody keeps you from acquiring the rights and producing your own film version in an attempt to erase this one from public memory. Bottom line: Someone produces a film that many will enjoy and you don't have to watch. Just let it go and don't begrudge other people their fun.
