Don't get me wrong I think Laverne Cox is a fantastic actor however I can't help but think an actor like Eddie Izzard in drag would be a better fit for the lead. In addition, everyone else doesn't seem like it will be impacting.

Um. YEAH! Casting a woman as Frank kinda negates the "Sweet Transvestite" aspect, totally destroying the character. And Ben Vereen as Dr Scott??? A black Nazi? Really??? I am going to watch it but, being an old-school Rocky participant, I am prepared to hate it. We'll see...
