If I were FORCED to remake this film, I'd sure employ some very talented and unique casting. Not this tween star shtuff. Some say that SAdam Lambert would be a more obvious Frank. Well yeah, that's because he'd actually be GREAT in that role!
Not a big fan of the Magenta casting. Why did they have to change her race? And don't say I'm a being racist. I don't have a problem with any race. But characters are characters and half of these have a different race than their original counterpart.
shareWhere in this script is anyone's race specified? Just because a certain actor played role doesn't mean that actors race is forever the characters race. It's almost always irrelevant.

"Grow up"? Lol that's funny. There has been two adaptions by the creator, both of which Magenta had a Caucasian actor. No one would want a Caucasian actor to play an established Hispanic role, now would they?
Not a big fan of the Magenta COSTUME! She looks ridiculous, like someone dressed her for Halloween using spare pieces of costumes. They don't have to replicate the film or stage look but that pink comedy wig, ugh!

I could be wrong but wasn't it atleast implied that magenta and riff raff had an incestuous relationship? If that is the case wouldn't they have to be the same race to make that work?

Also the casting of Dr Scott - I guess they are losing the Nazi references as a black Nazi really doesn't make any sense.
