Cable perhaps?

Maybe this could have exceeded more if it had been on a cable network such as FX where it could have gotten the TV-MA rating.
Where the costumes could have been more revealing.
Where the idea of sexual awakenings could be shown with open legs instead of clever choreography to avoid it.
Where a less than wholesome subject could be tackled that way.
I dunno...there were good things here. But many more bad things.
Maybe I'm wrong...

I agree...!!

HBO would have been spectacular. Showtime would have been a riot. Starz would have been a good. I'm still at the beginning...I'm not overly thrilled at the two leads..he isn't lankly-goofy-50s enough and she's a bit plastic and they both look like they're reading off of cue cards..very Morris Code like reading...

Not liking that audience thing either...goodness...

If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions.

Yeah the fourth wall bits were stupid and distracting.

I agree with you. It would've helped if had been more adult, not so sanitized. When you make RHPS family-friendly you take all the fun out of it.

I think it's SUPPOSED to be this bad. They are playing off of the camp of the original. The problem is I think the original took itself more seriously than this.

When they took out F|U|C|K from "A mental mind F|U|C|K can be nice" I just cringed. I LOVE the original movie and it just pissed me off that that was censored. You Better Wise Up Janet Weiss is one of my favorite songs.

Totally agree!

RHPS is not for general TV consumption. It was never mainstream and trying to make it so, only serves to dilute it's appeal. Fox trying to "seem" progressive by casting Laverne Cox and then sanitizing the rest is a disservice to the fans, new and old.
