I am horribly disappointed by learning that as my nostalgia goggles would have loved to have seen another of the originals making a cameo.

I think she was only added as they wanted Tim Curry involved in the production, however due to the lack of mobility from his stroke,they could only cast him as the Criminologist, however he was unable to turn the pages of the story book or demonsrate the Time Warp as the Criminologist did in the original. It's sad, I really love Tim... did not like this production though.
