Here's a pitch
Going with the "Tribute" theme.
Let's pay homage to all the Frankenstein, Dracula, Mummy, Wolfman, etc. monster movies that were "Son of...", "Daughter of..." and make "The Rocky Horror Picture Show II - Daughter of Frank-N-Furter".
The son of Brad takes a trip with his fiancee' (also named Janet like his Mother's name) to the place where his parents (the original Brad and Janet) had some kind of strange life changing alien encounter. The details are sketchy but Brad Jr. being just like his Father, is conservative and strong jawed and ready to get to the bottom of this mystery and discover the truth.
They find the house and mysteriously, they have a flat and no cell service, and have to walk to the house where Dr. Frank-N-Furter's lost daughter has returned to also understand what happened to her Father. She, too is a mad scientist misunderstood by the Transylvanian community. The Transylvanians know she is onto a great discovery, despite their misgivings, so they assign an elderly Riff-Raff and Magenta (same actors as original, O-Brien can still kill it) to act as her chaperones.
During the time Dr. Frank Jr. has been there, she has managed to acquire a gay twink boy named Columbia into her entourage. She also has kidnapped a hot straight rough trade delivery boy named Eddie and done some experiments on him...There's even the now ancient Dr. Scott (played by Curry but could there be a surprise at the end? Who is he really?). Oh and a hunky invention named Rocky who does NOT wear board shorts...sheesh.
You get the drift. Everything changes but remains the same. The songs are re-enacted just as they were but are happening in the future time, so we can keep the same songs and actions with just a few tweaks "I'm just a sweet transexual, from transvestite Transylvania".
I wish they would have gone with this kind of "re-imagining" instead of the mess they came up with. At least Laverne Cox would not be so woefully mis-cast in my version.
