tim curry in a coma?

or has he had a stroke? my god! he looked like he was far from "it" here. he looked like he was spaced out. his performance in the original will NEVER, EVER be touched!!

i don't know how old he is now, but, *beep* was he ever out of it!

reply

He had a stroke back in 2012. I thought he was amazing, even singing a little bit at the end

reply

oh *beep* i had no idea!!

reply

yeah. now i've heard. in retrospect i admire his courage for choosing to pull that off. i genuinely had no idea that he'd taken a stroke.

reply

[deleted]

go *beep* yourself. i had no idea.

reply

so stupidity is a good excuse to act like a douche? are you a republican?

reply

Now, now. No need for name calling. According to Donald Trump it's the *beep* Party.

reply

[deleted]

lmao but you're throwing a massive hissy fit over being called out on your own *beep* comments...just like trump.

reply

Then why in the *beep* do you keep responding, princess?

reply

From a totally disinterested party in this proceeding, YOU were the one that threw out the dickbag line. Their comments were not out of line and as it turned out were true.

That said, I also had no idea that Curry had had a stroke and just thought he was playing the criminologist as it was expected to be played.

Lol. I love your phraseology.

reply

I was agreeing but the democrats are the jerks!

reply

And seriously? Do you honestly believe that "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is on any Republican's playlist? Yeah! A film about transvestites and transsexuals is EVERY Republican's favourite genre of cinema! Jesus...

reply

CAN WE STOP WITH THE POLITICS?!?! JUST STOP!!!

Just ONCE I want to go to a board and not have to listen about who's voting for who!

AND P.S. I'M VOTING FOR TRUMP AND I WATCHED BOTH VERSIONS OF ROCKY HORROR!!!

I saw RHPS in the 70s on cable, owned two LPs (one the L.A. cast album), and saw it in live in London in 1979. Oh yes, I'm a conservative and a Republican.

Open your mind a little bit and shake off all that programming. Think for yourself.

thanks for filling me in clam vomit.

reply

I'm surprised you didn't hear he had a stroke. He's lucky to be alive. Be glad he can do anything. He deserves respect, so learn to be less of an ass huh?

reply

i had no idea!! christ almighty! i'm not up on ALL things related to Tim Curry. jeeze louise!

reply

It's all good, wangson, you didn't know... No need for everyone else to jump down your throat.

reply

jesus! thanks for saying so auteur!

reply

I didn't know ( or didn't remember if I heard it four years ago ) either, until I read it in the trivia section here just before Tim appeared. Once you asked and were answered I think your response was appropriate, and the name callling and subsequent devolvement into political mudslinging was way over the top.

If I hadn't known I would have been confused by his manner of speaking too.

reply

Thanks for saying so PowergirlsMom

reply

I agree with auteur_theory....I'm only looking at it to see Tim. God Bless him....

If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions.

reply

Spot on.

reply

Thanks again! If I ever need a defence lawyer, I'm calling you first, auteur_theory!

reply

It was all over the tv and internet that this is his first appearance since his stroke in 2012. You don't watch television or read articles on the internet?

reply

Yes, poor Timmy had a stroke not too long ago. But as some pictures suggest he is doing well and recovering. It is very sad but I'm glad that he is doing better. I'm just watching Rocky Horror but Tim's performance is spot on.

I didn't find the original post offense. It was general concern and curiosity.

Rest assured Timmy is still Timmy

reply

Thanks for saying so Tank_Girl24...Yeah, I'd no idea he'd taken a stroke. That said, it was still fantastic to finally see Tim Curry again. He actually used to be one of my favourites thanks to his performances in TRHPS (obviously) and his amazing stint as the butler from, "Clue". He pulls of refined sophistication AMAZINGLY!

That explains it, but they could have done some voice editing that would have made his role bearable.
