Rock really can't act

This travesty make me believe he can't really act.

He does a good job with anything that he could have done during his pro wrestling days. He can do comedy. He can trash talk. He can stare someone down intently. He can drop catchphrases with conviction. Beyond that, he mostly delivers lines with a blank or neutral expression.

Honestly, I don't think better acting would have helped this film much. If we had Russell Crowe playing Hercules with the same conviction he had in Gladiator, the story would have still been poorly written and poorly executed.

If he couldn't act then he wouldn't be starring in one of HBOs top series' right now. He's come a long way. Although I haven't seen this movie yet...
