Gotta love those misleading trailers

I get it , they have to sell the movie.
And surprise, the premise of the movie shows the 'reality' of Hercules' adventures vs the fantastical mythos.
I would have preferred an actual fantasy movie, but that's just me.

They had to make the trailer look like he's really fighting some badass monsters so of course they included every single 'fake' creature in the movie, but they sort of pushed it too far by making that bone-whip look like it was magically on fire. I dunno , maybe there was a deleted version where his whip ended up being set ablaze by a knocked over burning brazier, but I'm going to assume they added this fiery effect for the trailer just to mislead further.

A straight-up fantasy would had been fun, but I liked the 'con artist' angle better than expected.
