Why is the only wide release on the Karl Marx long weekend?
The previous generic weekend has 4 wide releases!
shareBecause Labor Day is notrious for being one of the worst weekends box office wise and also is known for studios dumping movies they know are trash. Reviews for this are good, but it's also going straight to Peacock. It seems like the studio doesn't think it's going to do well at the box office so they are releasing it on a slow weekend.
shareThis is a good little indie film---it would have done better had the studio bothered to promote it, like the actors did on talk shows.
