Why did it flop?
Why do you think it flopped? Did nobody care after so many years? Mixed reviews?
Will be interesting to see how Scream 5 performs.
Because it was terrible, just like 3 before it.

I remember Empire giving it ** out if ***** and thinking that was an absurdly low score for what was a fantastically thrilling, intelligent, funny sequel (the best since the original IMHO).
Pleased to see they revised their stupid position and called S4 ‘underrated’ in their review for Scream 5. Sadly, however, they gave that piece of shit **** which it certainly didn’t deserve.
Critics have become beyond useless. I basically invert whatever their score is now. If they hate a film, I’ll rush out to go see it - works really well.
