WHY THIS FAILED...

1.using same black actor from a movie that made fun of this movie(scary movie 3) and making his death extremely unrealistic

2.having sidney write a book..LIKE WHAT? that not her character at all and even if she did she would so go to gale for help with it.

3.not having sidney and gale best friends! by this time gale and sidney should be best friends especially how scream 3 ended.

4.no gale and sidney alone scenes together besides one when gale is in the book shop hating sidney on her book success.

5.no scenes of dowey and sidney talking about tadem(doweys sister).

6.ockward scene of dowey and sidney looking at each other like they about to kiss, like wtf they relationship aways been a brother and sister one!!

7.relying to much on the younger cast to make this movie..and because of this is why we don't have most of the scenes of gale and sidney together.

8.the deaths were not extreme, the deaths were goofy, and also needed more death scenes and chase scenes.

9. no suspense besides kirby opening the closest.

10. awful score half the score made the movie seem goofy.

WHY YOUR POST FAILED...

1. YELLING your thread title. Regardless of what some people seem to think, that's never necessary (and rather rude, to boot).

2. Terrible formatting. You obviously know how to capitalize letters, yet you don't capitalize your sentences.

3. Spelling. There are no characters named "dowey/dowel" or "tadem" in the movie. "ockward" is not a word, either.

4. None of these "problems" you point out are particularly relevant and have nothing to do with the movie's success.

Why Scream 4 may have failed is in having a scary looking Courteney Cox in the film at all.

No offence and with all due respect to Miss Cox the woman cannot scream for toffee.

I realise that this might not be all that important to an actress in a scary movie but for me it is.

Where Scream 4 might have failed is slapping the film with a 15 certificate in the U.K. And that's with a grotesquely violent murder scene.

Additionally David Arquette looks rough as hell in this film. I know that looks aren't everything (just ask Beyoncé!) but they help.

Cox's acting is way too ott. It is possibly thee worst part about the film.

Another reason why the film may have failed is that abomination of a scream in the opening kills. I'm talking that long-haired tramp.

Anthony Anderson ruined the film for me.

Adam Brody is hot.

Hayden however you spell her name has a hideous hair cut.

Ditto Macauley's brother. His hair is atrocious.

Finally Kevin Williamson is a hack. And his script is pure excrement. And snot.

Despite being credited, he barely wrote any of this film. He had to leave to write Vampire Diaries and was replaced by the uncredited Ehren Kruger, who wrote the third film, and it shows.

This film takes the wretched "humor" of Scream 3 that was already overboard way more overboard.

Couldn't disagree more. Scream 3 was a cartoon. Scream 4 had its jokes but so do 1 and especially 2.

Scream 4 is streets ahead a better movie than part 3. I'm grateful we got it.

He actually left over left over difference with Harvey Weinstein.

A movie that grossed nearly 100mil cannot be considered a failure. it didn't do well as much as they wanted. but it did good.
