How do people not think %@^@ had the worst death since Casey in the first?

Surely poor little Olivia had it much, much worse than Trev. And Casey. And Kate.

The poor cow was just minding her own business when that munter with the girls haircut started stabbing her.

And kicking her.

And stabbing her through her hand.

And then disembowelling her.

And playing with her corpse.

Though I do agree with poor ickle Trevvy.

Not only to get eff'd over by the woman he loves.

But to die in such a way is unspeakable.

Jill needed a much much more sadistic death.

And as for poor, innocent Casey?

Hers was most troublesome. So close to safety and yet to just get all gutted when her parents were right there. That's messed up.

Everybody seems to forget Steve. Poor guy was gutted alive. The other characters who were gutted were most likely already dead when it happened.

I definitely think Trevor had it bad; the topper being that since he was tied up, he couldn't even grab his wound (that doesn't help, of course, but it's more of a psychological thing). Same with Derek in the second film, but Trevor's case was a bit worse, for reasons that should be obvious.

Casey and Olivia are the obvious ones, of course. There are always those little details that just make everything seem so much worse; Olivia was stabbed everywhere, chest, stomach, back, but it was the hand stab that really seemed to make people squirm (that happens a lot in real life with stabbing victims because they instinctively put their hands up to shield themselves).

The killings in the second and third movies didn't seem so brutal overall, and nobody was gutted (not that I'm complaining about that; I don't particularly need to see anybody's entrails). The throat slashings (there's one in every film) are what really make me cringe.

Olivia might win for most brutal death - she’s basically a pin-cushion for the killer, getting multiple deep stabs including disembowelment. The whole thing takes a good minute, as she watches her bedroom redecorated in her own arterial spray.

Trevor gets it bad being shot in the dick, but he’s only alive to suffer it for 5 seconds before he mercifully takes one in the head.

Casey gets terrorised, watches her boyfriend disemboweled, then takes a stab to the upper torso, has her throat crushed so she can’t call her parents for help, takes at least one other stab wound, then is dragged to the tree. We don’t know if she’s alive for the disembowelment but her intestines are slopped on the floor, steaming in the cold night, under her strung up corpse. Now that I think about it maybe we have a winner 😬

I want to make special mention of Milton’s death in 3 - hands tied behind his back, throat slashed, then dumped face first on the floor, his body writhing like a worm as he bleeds out, unable to clutch his gushing neck. Such a humiliating and awful way to go.
