People who didn't like it are dumb
End of story.
sharePretty much
shareThat's one of the most moronic statements i've read in a long time....
It just makes me think about a short story by Hans Christian Andersen called "The Emperor's New Clothes" ;)

What is dumber is the mentality of some people feeling the need to completely tear apart a movie because they don't like a movie and nor should everyone else.

I don't get how people have such a hard time understanding satire, which this movie clearly has loads of. :)
shareSatire really is one of those things that goes right over some people's heads. They don't see how pointing out the obvious in itself is a joke.
Like people who get offended by Idiocracy :')
It seems to be a marmite scenario of a movie
My IQ was clocked at 168, and I hate the damn thing. Like it if you want, but that doesn't make you "smart," nor does disliking it mean anyone's dumb.
This is a broad, obvious, very shallow satire of something that there's not much point in even satirizing. It's a movie for people who think The Matrix is "really deep."
Nah, it's a movie for people who love horror and its crazy tropes.

It's a comedy. Somehow, in the last few years, people have started thinking horror is about comedy. It isn't. If you want laughs out of horror movies, you don't really love horror.
shareLast few years?
Horror and comedy have been linked for decades. If you don't know that, you don't really love horror.

People who appreciate The Cabin in the Woods are renowned for their outstanding intelligence, the current MENSA test is one simple question "Do you like The Cabin in the Woods (2012)?". 🤓
