Scene at the end with the Security Guard at the airport annoys me

Near the end of the movie when the redneck guy is going after the main character girl, he parks his truck at the airport departures area, which is a big no-no for any airport. If you want to park your vehicle anywhere, it can't be in that zone. Departure zone is specifically for dropping passengers off, and Arrival zone is specifically for picking passengers up.

That security guard was just doing his job, making sure this redneck got outta there, because he has no reason for being there and he was trying to park his tornado truck there. So douchebag redneck dude literally DRILLS into the road and runs into the terminal.

We, as viewers, are meant to hate the security guy and like the redneck in this moment, but This is ridiculously extreme main character syndrome behavior. He thinks the rules don't apply to him because he's amazingly good looking and he's going after the amazingly good looking girl and that's all that matters. According to him, The road doesn't matter, the rules don't matter, the ugly people in the traffic jam he's causing don't matter.

Douche bag moment for a douche bag guy

It was meant to be a funny scene, but it was awful and dumb. He destroys the road because of stubbornness? I don't think we are meant to hate the airport guy as he is obviously doing his job. The augers drive through cement with no issue is just so stupid, but with everything else that happened in this film, like no one having a weather app on their phone even though they live in tornado alley or the superpowers of the lead character, who cares at this point.
