The last 3 minutes weren't needed
The movie should have ended when Blonde said no. The last 3 minutes with the cure bullet and the meaning of the exam wasn't needed IMO.

shareTotally agree. Too much spoon-feeding at the end.
shareI don't know if I would call the revelation of the purpose of the exam spoon-feeding. There would have been no way to figure it out otherwise, as there were no real clues along the way to get us to that conclusion.
I have had it with these monkey-fightin' snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!
True, but who cares about the purpose of the exam? All the audiance knows or cares about happened in that room.
shareKnowing about the purpose of the exam matters because it puts the events into context. If the exam had allowed murder to take place it completely changes the nature of the job, the company, the CEO - even the dystopian world around them to a certain extent.

"Monkey-fightin' snakes"?? LOL!!

We would think CEO was a psycho if they didn't show the cure bullet. Letting people shoot each other for a job? That scene is for explaining that everything was actually safe. I also think meaning of the exam was necessary. We get to know about the personality of the CEO who is very interesting.
