I honestly don't understand why..

..it didn't occur to them to spoil the papers of others. That was about the first thing that popped in my mind when hearing the rules. Even if that was not the solution, I find it very unbelievable that that was not one of their first thoughts. Instead they go on this ridiculous light and water trip, this bad psychologizing of each other and violence.

I thought watching this film was torture and I would also not hire any of these incredible stupid people. My friend and I started to suspect the job they were competing for was being a chef at McDonalds. Would have made for a better ending. "And now, Blonde, you get to flip our burgers!"

Anyway, just my opinion. Trying to understand what people find appealing about this film. Trying to see if I can get my 1,5 hour back, somehow. Holla at me.

They mentioned that spoiling other peoples papers (or pushing an unconscious man out of the door) would have ment they also lost. (thats my white handed dark her own paper to burn rather than his)

rule was "If you spoil YOUR paper, you are disqualified". If someone other spoil your paper, thats a different thing.

Getting into a fistfight over others papers risking getting disqualified yourself would be the first thing you do? .. I dont think you would get into the exam in the first place.

let alone the fact that wouldnt work, if you start trying to spoil others papers good chance they are going to gang up on you and spoil yours. They assumed it can be solved through deductive thinking.

They were instructed that they would be disqualified if they attempted to communicate with the invigilator, or the guard. So, when the invigilator asked the question "are there any questions?" any response would then satisfy the question's answer and disqualify the person at the same time! Responding to the question would, in fact, be communicating with the invigilator. I thought that him asking this question in the first place was a trick, and that's why no one answered.

Seriously... What if someone did have a question? The whole experiment would have to end right there on the spot.
