The Gods stole the show

For me, the Greek Gods' small involvement in the film were the highlights.
Loved Poseidon's entrance, Ares owning the field against soldiers was awesome, and the final battle against the "Titans" was much more entertaining than the soldiers vs soldiers happening at the same time.

Wished they would be more involved but no, Zeus just had to make restrictions.

The film made no sense in a lot of parts: the characters act unlike any actual person would and I mean not even in fantasy film standards would any sane character act like this!
But overall, I liked the atmosphere, the sadistic violence and yes, the Gods in this film.

I have some questions though
1. The IMDb lists Heracles to be in this film. Where?
2. Did Epirus Bow have some limit? Why anyone holding a bow spam its amazing ability?

I thought all the fighting in the film was surprisingly good, even the human fights. You're right though the Gods stole the show loved how at first you thought the Gods were going to just wreck havoc then you saw how dangerous the Titans were when they started overwhelming with their numbers.

Damn good movie for what it is.

Agreed. The gods were the best part of the movie. The end fights with the Titans definitely stole the show over the humans fighting. Though I did enjoy watching Theseus fight as well.

I think I read somewhere or maybe heard in the movie something about only those who harnessed great power could use the bow. (I could be totally wrong, however.)

I just couldn't stop laughing at their extremely gay hats. The guy with the elaborate earmuffs just looked so foolish not godly!

I thought Mickey Rourke made for an excellent and scary villain as King Hyperion. His scenes were the most impressive imo. As to the gods, if they hadn't been restricted, the deeds of Perseus would have been diminished. He would have become practically invincible, which would have made his story boring.
