He was just being himself, everyday he's surrounded by naked women and calling himself a king.

At least he can't be accused of "overacting". I actually thought he made for an excellent villain and came across as quite scary. This wasn't exactly the greatest movie of all time, but if memory serves, he was one of the highlights.
