Too much blood for my taste.

Otherwise I enjoyed it. Visuals are beautyful .

Too much blood? You can't ever have too much blood.

Cult Leader my minds frightening, I drink blood from a human skull like a Viking

Think of what kind of movie you're watching and then ask why this question doesn't sound stupid.

reply

Too much CG blood, frankly.

With the budget this movie got, they couldn't afford vats of cornstarch, water, and red dye!?

When you go the extremely bloody route, you gotta do it right or it just looks cheap; the gore in this movie looks cheap.

reply

The blood wasn't done the way it was to save money or to cut corners, the blood is stylized to match the look of the film. And it workd very well, as it did with the first film.

Hacking wounds, yes, but it's annoying when someone is stabbed with a spear and fake digital blood explodes out of the front of the wound. A puncture wound doesn't bleed, maybe just a little bit. Sometimes even when the blade is pulled out it doesn't weep much. Even the exit wound with a spear sticking out of the back wouldn't explode blood like a water balloon.

To each their own I guess, but my brain didn't even register as blood. Just CG red globs flying everywhere. There was some other brutality though that was impactful, good grief. :P but yea, the blood, nah, didn't even register it.

I loved all the blood and gore.
